When I am not getting pulled over for noisy mufler tickets in the great state of New Jersey, I also find stories to share with you here on AutoSpies.com. There tends to be an avalanche of content related around speed, like "Here's 0 - 300 km/h in a Nissan GT-R" and an overflow of exhaust fly-bys, ride alongs and simply revving the car in someone's driveway.
Obviously speed is important to enthusiasts but it's also clear that sound is a vital component as well. Personally, for me that's what makes or breaks the deal.
Though I have my own beliefs when it comes to what's ideally loud, it seems that others can't get enough of a motor turning RPMs. Take, for example, this clip of the Ferrari Enzo operating with straight pipes. It's likely to wake up everyone in the neighborhood. Or how about the C6 Chevrolet Corvettes with the Performance Exhaust option? In every press car I "pulled the fuse" and it was a blast until you got on a highway and were cruising in sixth gear. After about 45 minutes of that bassy V8 your ears start ringing like you're at a rock concert.
So, I turn to you — the AutoSpies faithful — to help conclude what is ideal and what is, frankly, too damn much when it comes to a vehicle's noise levels.

This is a once in a life ride. A once in a life experience.
I had the oportunity to have a ride in a silver Ferrari Enzo ! There are only 4 or 5 in the world in that colour and this one is straight piped ! That means it can not be louder...
So you take this car and some small moutain roads above Monaco and you get.... The most epic ride you can imagine.
The car has so much grip, the speed in the corners, the acceleration, the sound ! Everything about this car is epic !
