What GM is trying to tell us here, is that it's trying out the Corvette on the Nordschleife to make some fine-tuning to the European-specification model a few months prior to going on sale in the Old Continent. There's no doubt in anyone's mind that the General must have recorded some fast laps, but for now, at least, it's not sharing them.
