Aside from three of them recently catching on fire after striking a road object, the Tesla Model S has received stellar reviews from owners and critics alike. But that’s the Model S. Its predecessor, the Roadster, was a different story.
When it launched back in 2008, the two-seater was considered to be pretty high-tech for an EV. However, it was far from perfect and managed to drum up its fair share of critics, such as Jeremy Clarkson.
As it turns out George Clooney was once a Roadster owner, before auctioning it off last year for charity.
