This might be one of the coolest things I've seen in sometime. Apparently a retromod car built at Mercedes-Benz AMG will be up for grabs. If you have the means, I highly suggest picking one up.

The car in question is a 300SL "Gullwing" AMG. And though it's technically from 1954, it's pretty obvious the car has underwent some significant changes. Scope out the highly modified interior that now sports a modern steering wheel and transmission. How about the Recaro sport seats? More importantly, the motor's been swapped for a 380 horsepower V8, which means it will punch much harder than the original 300SL.

Though all these modern amenities may take away from the alure of the original 300SL "Gullwing," you do have to appreciate a solid restomod especially when it comes directly from the factory.

If you're seeking exclusivity, a 300SL would already put you there. But these rare retromod versions were built in an extremely small run — 11 to be exact. According to those in the know, the vehicle was originally made for the Sultan of Brunei, who was well known for commissioning extravagant one-offs in batches five or more. Then AMG decided to build a few more for the public.
