Porsche Cayenne Turbo review
Extra mild, hot, spicy or extra spicy?
We recommend you pick up this month's issue of Car and driver at your newstand...It's an excellent issue this month with a lot of reviews, of cars our readers will be interested in...
Here's just a sampling of what they say about the Cayenne Turbo:
The first thing that surprised us in the review, was the fact that in the tests, the BMW X5 4.6is had better braking and roadholding scores and of course, it's much cheaper.
Here are some highlights from the review:
"We had hoped for a little more Porsche and a little less SUV"
"The Cayenne only generates decent cornering grip"
They alude to the fact that they are not crazy abouty it's styling...who is?
Auto Spies perspective: At almost 90K base, is this the stupidist car purchase anyone can ever make? We say, go buy the Range Rover while they're giving them away or wait for the 2004 X5 and buy a 350z roadster, for the summer with the change...Anyone shelling out 90K for this baby should have the license plate "I'm Stupid". Sure it's an above average SUV...so what? Also, this just in from a reader...check out this auction on ebay How does 10K below sticker sound for one? The damn thing isn't even four months old! I'd hate to holding one of these a year from now...what will it be worth? $50K? Your comments appreciated at rumors@autospies.com .
