Although I am not one of those Formula 1 fanatics, I will say that I have a tremendous amount of appreciation for the sport. Not only are we all touched by the racing series' innovation that trickles down into production vehicles, these gentlemen are seriously talented.
Go spend some time on a complex track in a high-powered automobile by yourself, then with an instructor, and you'll understand.
Sebastian Vettel is one of the sport's biggest stars and you don't have to follow F1 to know that. He's relatively young and has already captured four world championships. That makes him one of the most successful drivers in F1 history.
Now at home with Ferrari, it's going to be interesting to see what he and the boys and girls from Maranello can accomplish. But before we go there, check out Vettel giving the all-new Ferrari FXX K — the hardcore variant of the LaFerrari — a shakedown around the company's test track, Fiorano.
One thing is certain: Sebastian Vettel had some serious fun behind the wheel of the FXX K at Fiorano. The look on his face and his delighted exclamations (“Mamma mia! It goes like a rocket!”) in this video say it all.
