If you were to ask me what the BEST BMW's of recent memory were, I'd have to list the following three:
- 2011 BMW 1M
- Current-gen M3/M4
- Current-gen BMW M6 Gran Coupe
Simply put, they're all brilliant machines and although the latter two really mark a bit of a departure for the Bavarian marque, I have faith that the all-new M2 that succeeds the INCREDIBLE 1M will bring back the blue and white's core values.
In the past several months there's been a tremendous amount of spy shots and information finding its way online; however, one mystery that was NOT solved was the design of the front clip. To some of you this may seem trite, but for any M car it's a big deal. That's because the front clip helps give the M variants their identity.
Until now we've seen bits and pieces but this up close and personal spy video fully details what to expect from the design. If you ask me it is easily the most intricately designed front clip in M car history. Check out how the company is leverage aerodynamic design to channel air flow into the air curtain. It's going to be a bit busy but I think it will turn out OK. Can't be much longer until its clothes come off now.
