At the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS), Mercedes-Benz debuted not one, but two, newly refreshed vehicles for the 2017 model year.

The first is the newly buttoned up SL-Class roadster. Boasting an updated design, it looks much more purposeful and less goofy than the current product. Now its facade has been tightened up with a much sharper looking front grille and more proportional headlights — recall how the current SL has rather bulbous and large "eyes."

With newly updated motors, an all-new transmission and a revised interior, we're expecting this SL to be the best one yet. Not many automakers can produce an open roof vehicle that is even close to the SL — that's because it is a blend between a quick cruiser as well as a luxury vehicle.

The new GLS-Class picks up where the GL left off. This freshly updated sport-utility vehicle, which is loved by many, also receives a facelift in addition to updated motors and a nine-speed automatic. Considering how many buyers are lining up for large SUVs with seating for seven, the GLS is expected to continue populating driveways across the U.S.

With the new facelifted SL Roadster and the all new GLS Mercedes-Benz is celebrating no less than two world premieres in the "Dream Cars" category at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. While the new SL is taken to a new dynamic level by more powerful engines, DYNAMIC SELECT and Active Body Control, the seven-seated GLS is setting standards in the world of the SUV as it confirms its position as the "S-Class among SUVs" while combining luxury with impressive levels of comfort, agile dynamics and also best-in-class safety.
