One vehicle that's been getting a lot of attention in recent months is the next-gen Mercedes-AMG E63. There's a lot of focus on this particular class of autos since the launch of the Cadillac CTS-V with its mega Z06 V8 powerplant that pushes out an astonishing 640 horsepower.

So, will Mercedes-AMG retort with something as nutty? Well, we've got the answers for you now.

According to a leaked slide, the all-new E63 will offer 563 horsepower and 553 lb.-ft. of torque in its standard trim. Step into the "S" model and you'll get a solid 603 horsepower and 626 lb.-ft. of torque.

Paired up with a nine-speed MCT gearbox, the standard E63 is expected to hit 60 in around 3.7 seconds while the "S" will do it in about 3.5 seconds.

Is this enough though? While it's now confirmed that it will move to a 4.0-liter, bi-turbo V8 mill, you have to admit these figures are not exactly jaw dropping. And with FCA's Hellcat motors producing over 700 ponies, one has to ask themself if you're looking for a sledgehammer, why not just go with the American grunt? While we admit they're two classes of automobiles, there's no denying at the end of the day that power is power.

What say you, Spies? Does the all-new Mercedes-AMG have ENOUGH grunt?
