“If you look at the motorcycles, it is not just that they happen to be on two wheels but the kind of experience they provide is well known, that they are great vehicles that are fun to operate and own,” said Gene Brown, vp-marketing, American Suzuki Motor Corp. Suzuki motorcycle and scooter sales hit 140,000 last year compared with 82,000 vehicles, which Brown said puts the auto division in a “stronger position to sell the vehicles.”
