The Audi R10 TDI capped of its undefeated season with another win, this time at the ALMS season ending race in Laguna Seca. The four hour race was filled with lots of action, the Audis themselves were involved in plenty of contact, but Allan McNish and Dindo Capello drove the number 2 Audi R10 TDI to victory, the number 1 Audi finished second. The Audi had to fight hard for this win as once again the competition ran with 143 pounds of less weight. The amazing fuel economy of the R10 TDI diesel helped out, McNish was able to drive the last part of the race while the competition had to pit for fuel. Read the article for complete results.
