When it comes to the Porsche 911, there's SO many different variants to choose from. There's the S, the Targa, the cabriolet, the GT3 and so on.

Now if you're looking for a charged-up animal, the GT3 RS will get the job done. But if you want something reasonable yet jaw-droopingly fast, the Turbo S is the ticket.

But what if you want the most nutty 911 available? Then the obvious choice is the GT2 RS.

You get a turbocharged engine with nearly 700 horsepower and all the power is sent exclusively to the back. And its not like one of today's hybrid supercars that uses wizardry. It's the real deal.

So, what does all of this amount to? Rather than let words describe, I'll hand it over to Autocar who did a rather brief review of Porsche's most insane 911. See the clip below.

The Porsche 911 GT2 RS, then. Take a Porsche 911, add a turbocharged engine that's even more powerful than the one you'll find in a Turbo S, and fit suspension that's even more focused than the GT3 RS. Hey presto; the GT2 RS, a 690bhp, £200,000, limited-run supercar that's capable of 211mph and a 0-62mph dash in 2.8 seconds.

More than that, it'll lap the Nurburgring in just 6m 47.3sec.

We haven't tested the car at the Nurburgring however, we've driven it in the UK, oddly, across three different locations, squeezing in driving impressions, photographs and video into a very short amount of time. So please enjoy this short first review, and stay tuned for a more in-depth GT2 RS video to come.
