While the new MINI Cooper is already on sale, two more variants are still to come. The convertible won't make its debut for at least a year. But the wagon version, named Traveller, is on its way-and these new photos show how its rear doors will work.
The pictures show a Traveller being tested. The rear doors each have their own window washer and are rear-hinged, like those on the Mazda RX 8. These extra doors will give easier access to the back seat or to the cargo floor, when the back seats are folded down. The new Traveller will be rated to hold five passengers.
The Traveller is expected to go on sale by the end of next year, with a possible appearance at theGeneva motor show in March. Our photos show a prototype and one computer image to suggest how the Traveller's door system may work once the car is released
