In recent days we've been keeping an eye on all things related to the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which will be a key place for vehicle-related technology debuts. We know a handful of automakers will be prioritizing this event.

One of them is Audi.

According to reports and company-issued press releases, the four rings will be debuting an in-car entertainment experience that will function when the vehicle is parked. On the surface that sounds quite a bit gimmicky but as the company notes in its latest release, there will be another concept around digitization as well.

Automakers, in general, haven't been so great at the whole innovation thing but perhaps they'll start turning it around as many have dedicated offices and resources in Silicon Valley these days.

That said, if you want to stay ahead of Audi and what it's up to, bookmark this story so you can watch the press conference LIVE on January 8 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
