After the implosion of sport sedans since BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi made them household names, it seems that a new wave of vehicles are making landfall.  They are not wagons and if you really want to stretch it you cannot consider them sport-utility vehicles either.

With BMW's X6M turning 'Ring times just as fast as the E46 M3 it certainly is no slouch, and Porsche's Panamera Turbo pulling sub four second 0-60 launch times it is a lightning-quick large sedan.

But no one thought of this; pitting them against each other.

Autozeitung reports, in broken English:

"BMW X6 M and Porsche Panamera Turbo interpret the new sports car: twin-turbo V8 engine and four-wheel technology mixed with distinctive body - these two race cars match their own ideal line defined

A luxury sedan carrying a step-back and provides maximum comfort.  SUVs are practical, robust and heavy. As far as the stereotypes.  But that grant Porsche Panamera Turbo and BMW X6 M thoroughly.  Both cars extend the classical requirements for an original look and spice up the design with a brutal performance. You do not want but just being different than the automotive mass, but above all one thing - speed."

Tough question, indeed.  But what would you have?
