Following the lukewarm reception of the STLA Large-based Charger Daytona, the folks at Stellantis North America launched the Charger Scat Pack in a bid to increase sales. Be that as it may, the latest incarnation of the Charger may be prepping to add V8 options.
"Don't be surprised if it would fit," said Dodge brand chief executive officer Matt McAlear when pressed about shoehorning the Hellcat into the engine bay of the Charger. As reported by Motor1, the big kahuna further made it clear that Stellantis developed the STLA Large platform to "evolve over time and flex with consumer demand and changes in regulatory [policies]."
When it comes to flexibility, the standout characteristic of the STLA Large is that Stellantis developed it for both longitudinal and transverse applications. Initially advertised as being a BEV-native platform that supports 800-volt architectures, STLA Large is a transverse affair in the KM-series Jeep Cherokee.
