So if there is anything that the American automakers are known for, it is cheesy or stupid commercials. Remember General Motors' "May the best car win," spot with Ed Whitacre?
Although I am sure he is a nice guy that will do his best for the company, I am not sure he was the most awe-inspiring person for the job.
Fast forward to this past week's New Years Day, when Chrysler revealed their latest television spot. Dubbed "Coming home," this commercial takes a walk down memory lane of Chrysler's iconic products from yesteryear.
Although they appear to be getting things right in the marketing department, finally, do you think they have what it takes to compete in 2010? Now armed with an international automaker, are they going to develop a stronger, more compelling product?
