Honda Motor Co.’s global production is anticipated to increase by almost 10% in the business year that begins next month, fueled mainly by growth in Asia outside of Japan, according to the Nikkan Kogyo industrial’s report last Monday.

Production in China is expected to increase by more than 10%. The carmaker’s main parts suppliers have been informed of plans to make up to 3.3 million vehicles in the business year beginning April 1, an increase of nearly 10% from about 3.05 million vehicles this fiscal year.
