Jaguar Land Rover seems to be on a good run as of late. With the introduction of the highly controversial XJ replacement, which is now selling XJs in greater numbers than previously, and the introduction of one of the Agents' favorites, the Range Rover Evoque, we can only ask "What's next?"

That seems to have been answered as Jaguar has begun the preview of its all-new two-seater, the F-Type. While Jaguar has said in a straightforward fashion that it is not expected to be a high volume product, it is vital to the perception of the brand. I couldn't agree more as it were cars like the XK140 and E-Type that drew people into the British marque.

Now the F-Type is expected to do more of the same.

According to AutoExpress, who spoke with Ian Callum, the F-Type will be 95 percent of the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show's C-X16. Forgot all about that, did you? I included 001's images from the show below.

That being said, when the all-new F-Type makes its blockbuster debut in 2013, will it be the MOST exciting NEW Jaguar in years?

Jaguar confirmed that its new sports car will be called the F-Type at last week's New York Motor Show, and our exclusive images show how it might look.

The new F-Type is as essential to the firm as the 911 is to Porsche, according to Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar global brand director, who also revealed that it will go on sale in the middle of next year as a roadster.
