You have to love dictators.
They're absolutely reckless in all respects, spend money like water and have to be incredibly insecure. Cross them in the slightest way and you're likely to wind up in a ditch in the middle of no where.
Not to mention their reigns of tyranny almost always come to a violent end.
Tunisian dictator, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, has been confined to a life sentence in prison, which sounds to be worse than death from my perspective. So, what are folks to do with all of his leftover possessions, which includes nearly 40 luxury cars?
Easy, auction them!
Though there isn't much detail on the specific vehicles up for grabs, the AP story does make mention of a Mercedes-Benz that's "a handmade gem."
Any clue as to what it could be?

Tunisian authorities are putting property confiscated from ousted Tunisian dictator Zine El Abidine Ben Ali up for auction. That includes a pair of miniature gold sphinxes, a diamond-encrusted pen and a staggering 39 luxury cars.
One of the rarities up for grabs is a super-pricy Mercedes that belonged to Ben Ali's nephew. Mohammed Lassaad Hamayed of Tunisia's confiscation committee calls the car "a handmade gem made of carbon fibers that costs more than (EURO)2 million ($2.6 million)."
He says "only Mohamed VI (the King of Morocco) has a similar one."
