The Spies got their first glimpse of the upcoming SAAB 9-7x at the 9-2x press introduction in San Diego this week.

Why a Saab SUV?

Saab executives told us that 29% of people that left the Saab brand left and bough an SUV and 39% of Saab owners also own an SUV.

Nuff said.

SAAB announced that the first units will be available for sale in US dealers next spring.

And yes, you're not hallucinating...it's a rebadged GMC envoy.

But we are told, it will drive much better due to suspension and other tweaks.
