001 Calls It, USA Today Confirms It: Honda Delivers a Knockout in Accord Coupe
Honda has marketed a coupe version of the Accord long enough to know a couple of key things.

Having a coupe in the line jazzes up the image of all Accords, making buyers of the four-door sedan feel less like they're settling for a family car and more like they're getting something sporty on the sly.

Having a coupe boosts sales just about enough to keep one in the lineup.

So Honda (HMC) included a coupe model when it gave the Accord a clean-sheet makeover for the 2008 model year.

It looks awkward, and because it is for the American market, that means it is heavy as well. I would like to see a comparison between the Accord Coupe and the Altima coupe...

Lets be honest here....Honda can't win enough comparisons to get the same reaction that Toyota got with the Camry; they're the antihero.

What reaction did Toyo get with the Camry?
The Accord has one every performance comparison against the Camry and this model will be no different.
The new Mazda 6 will be the best in this class.

I still think the Altima is the car to beat. Very good value for the price.

There is no doubt the Honda Accord looks better than the Toyota Camry from any angle.

I'm sure 100% of you will agree.

But the 5 series inspired tail lights and bangle-butt on the camry are irresistable ;)

There are better looking coupes, but nothing even close in this price range.

I'm on-the-fence with this model. I like that Honda has increased the "sporty" factor in both the sedan and coupe, but it also feels like they're "watered-down" versions of upcoming Acura models made on the same platform.

Honda continues to take their designs and technology to new levels, but at the same time Acura is only getting sharper exterior shells and leather to justify being in a luxury market. Soon, it'll seem like Hondas should be worth (cost) more than Acuras.

LOL, a bit of a contradiction.

Looks like a regular, run-of-the-mill Honda designed in the same mold as previous Honda Accord coupes.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. It might actually be a good thing as making something out-of-the-box or provocative would be uncharacteristic and hurt sales, because it's meant to be appealing enough for EVERYONE'S tastes. This philosophy dictates the design as in most other Asian nameplates.

I'm sure it's a very good car, and a great value for the price, as Honda are known to be. But attractive, it is not, to my eyes. To each his own.
