There's a reason why Southern California has a mystique surrounding it like no other place on earth.

Because it has earned it.

If you've never been here, we can tell you it's EXACTLY like the stereotypes.

Beautiful weather, beautiful people, beautiful scenery, beautiful cars, etc., etc. etc.

Trust us.

It's ALL true.

There's a reason why Borat went west from New York.

He GOT it.

Growing up in Buffalo, New York, I can tell you I'm proud of my roots but now that I'm here, I'm NEVER going back to the east coast.

Except to visit.

Who knows, maybe someday when AutoSpies.com gets aquired by some huge company, I'll become the unofficial ambassador of California.

It's THAT amazing.

And every day I'm thankful to be here.

Hopefully, I do a good job of sharing my joy when you read the site.
So enjoy just a tidbit of a typical weekend here.

Hanging with my buds from DGK, seeing the best mohawk haircut known to man and spotting some badass, sexy BMW's.

Just another typical weekend in Southern California.

If there is a heaven on earth, this could be it.

What's wrong with those "people". Last time I checked you never created a human being. They are just kids. Would you rather they wear a suit and tie and have no tatoos but behind the scenes rob banks or rape people. Cool down, these are God's creations just like you are. If we took a picture of some of the people that live where you live what would it be like? Try to enjoy the pictures, 001 is proud of where he lives, if not he could relocate, what is wrong with that?

SoCal is a joke. It's like Las Vegas--fake glamor to cover what's really happening behind the scenes. I can never stay there for more than a week because it's so detatched from reality.

That's exactly what it is, a break from reality. I can't say too much about socal because I only go for 3-4 days at a time, but it is an excellent place to get away from it all...

i think this is the first non-auto article ever posted since i joined here and its about LA's beautiful females. 001 i have to ask, are you married? if yes, how does it last? your always checking out such young, hot women on all your trips. i know my girl would leave me if i ever attempted this or anything like it. my relationship with my loved one is very strict when it comes to the opposite sex(im not complaining about it btw)

I live in San Diego too, but what's in those pictures sure isn't what the area is all about.

What about pictures of Del Mar, La Jolla, Balboa Park? Surfers? Girls in bikinis?

Pictures of some teens and a couple of run-of-the-mill bimmers is worthy of a "story"?

I live in one of the ten wealthiest ZIP codes in the US, but you don't see me bragging about it, much less devoting an article to how fabulous it is here.

And where in my comments did I brag about how wealthy my zip code is? I only VISIT SoCal. I actually live in central Cali and the closest town to me is lower class with bits of middle class scattered around it. THIS is real life to me. I just found it funny that a woman would race me with her child in the passenger sit. In a sense, I was criticizing the lunacy of SoCal, but once again everyone sees through that and is just too pissed off I am talking about racing Bentleys and how amazing SoCal is for it. It was a joke ppl... GOD!
