1350 hp Bugatti Veyron Centenaire Edition coming to Geneva

Impressive power. But any more special editions will render this much desired model tacky. Lambo is on its way there too with their Murc and Gallardo. Mustang is the industry example of what not to do. Enough with the "daily" editions and maybe get back to developing next generations or new models.

dayyyyummmm.... 1000hp for the first gen already had me going holy crap... now 1350??... thats very very very sweet... btw what did they just do?... increase the size of the turbo chargers?... im not so sure...

The HP wars get crazier this thing will be capable of over 260 mph thats impressive but where are you goingt to use that car to its full potential. deffinitley not in the states but its just a status symbol at this point

Boys and Girls, do any of you remember cars like the Duesenburg twenty grand or the Bugatti Royale? How about a Mercedes SSK or a Horch 853 Cabriolet? Cars like these have always been nothing more than proclamations of extreme wealth. The wealthy have always been able to seek out and acquire the finest of just about anything. Comissioning an engineer to do his finest work is much like comissioning an artist to create a masterpiece. During the renaissance the Medici family hired some pretty famous artists to decorate palaces. Did that make them artists? Did that make them connoisseurs of fine art? Maybe. The guy that buys the 1350hp Bugatti Veyron doesn't have to be a professional race car driver. He doesn't have to have a need for it. He may never even drive the thing, all he has to do right a very large check. The best description one can give this car is that it's an absolute engineering marvel. I doubt anyone will put so much time and effort into such a project ever again. Nothing about it makes sense. It has no purpose to exist really other than to showcase some pretty extreme engineering prowess. Am I glad it does? Hell yeah! It's big time German ego flexing at it's finest without a doubt. When Germans set goals for themselves, they bust ass like no other to get to it. If someone starts to challenge them, they just move the bar highter with almost super human ease. Almost like, "hey, we expected this to happen so here you go!" We all stand around scratching our collective heads and say "how did they come up with that so fast?"
