$2 million Bugatti Veyron crashed again
Another Veyron has met a bitter and untimely end, this time at the hands of a driver apparently convinced the car was suitable for plowing a wheat field in West Berkshire, UK.

The crumpled front end and left front quarter panel, undercarriage and collapsed windshield indicate this was more than a minor off-road excursion, marking the second documented Veyron crash.

Goes to show you... even if you can afford the car doesn't mean you can afford to learn how to drive it properly.

He obviously showed the car no respect when he first got in with a mindset of "I own the fastest car in the world and from what I see in car reviews the car is easy to drive..." NOT WHEN YOU'RE GOING 200MPH IT ISN'T! What a waste of $2 million on a person who can't drive. On top of that the UK don't have wide roads where he can use the car to it's potential. Either he lacks the ability or he saw a ghost. No one who spends that much money on a car even if you were a Billionaire would be that careless. I hope he cries himself to sleep for 2 years because another person who can't afford it would have taken care of the masterpiece.

The UK has plenty of roads where the car can be used to its full potential. What a dumb comment. Yeah. Like the entire country is made up of one lane gravel roads.

And unlike here in the US, people understand how to drive on the motorways and don't sit in the fast lane yapping on their cellphones. They see you coming and they move out of the way!

On a recent trip I drove from Barnet in North London to Penrith in Cumbria via the M1/M6. I did it in just under 4 hours averaging well over 75 and generally doing about 95. Try doing that on any interstate. You would get 100 yards and be sitting behind some retard in the fast lane.

Well your bad experiences doesn't count for my satisfactory commutes on interstates that I have been on. Just because you averaged 75 on the M1/M6 it doesn't mean you can do that on every road in Great Britain. I have had no problems on interstates so you can't speak for everyone else just because you had a few bad experiences. So you're basically saying there are roads (NOT TRACKS) that you can hit 200mph without having to brake for a pedestrian or vehicle? If so then that's not to it's potential because the top speed for the Veyron is 250mph(407km/hr) give or take a couple.

Perhaps the driver of that Veyron had the same mindset as you.

I LIVE in the UK but visit the USA an awful lot.

Lewishamiltonpimp is correct in every sense. the UK is way more suited for really fast driving than anywhere in the USA.

The mindset of Other drivers in the UK is safer for you as they understand that their actions (Or Lack of It) could cause serious harm to other road users, so they pay more attention to the road AHEAD AND BEHIND, this is something drivers in the USA seldom do. UK drivers also look behind and do not switch lanes if they notice a vehicle approaching quickly as they know it will cause heavy breaking for the other driver. In the USA people start changing lanes before bothering to Signal and they do not care if you were approaching at 150mph (Has Happened to me numerous times on the I-95) Then proceed to sit on the fast lane next to another vehicle at the speed limit for 10-30 miles.

I regularly do 180mph on UK Roads ( M1, M11, M6, M40,.........) List of good Motorways is endless, No Radar Gun Toting, Revenue Generating Cop will be parked in some shade waiting to collect some commision from you as my Username tells you has happened to me on many USA visits.

Those Pics show a Wet road with tree leaves on it. Even the GTR would have problems finding traction on such a long curve if the approach speed was too much under similar conditions.

So please do not make stupid comments about other countries unless you have comprehensively toured that country.

Guys relax! Shi.t happens...Aspecially on a 1,000hp car where I'm sure slight turn under full throttle could make the car fly off the road easily. At least it wasn't somewhere in the city where he could've hurt someone else.

The problem with car ownership is how some cars are treated and this is making part of my point.
