2004 7-series refresh: Auto Spies scoops autoweek by five months

So, we got some email this week, informing us about this huge scoop in Autoweek, regarding the refresh on the 2004 BMW 7-series.
Unfortunately, they're five months late in telling you....We reported this in our October 10, 2002 edition (don't tell anyone, but that's 001's birthday)

As we've been saying all along, BMW KNOWS there's a problem with the look of the seven. Anyone with a pulse who's seen this car, knows the trunklid and front headlights are a mistake. Trust us, it will never make it into the MOMA (For those of you less cultured individuals than the Spies :), that's the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art).
They have been telling dealers secretly, that they are working on on refresh for the 2004 model year, for a few months now.
The latest news is that it will be shown (in secret) to the dealers at their meeting this September in Germany and it will be available no later than March of next year.
