2007 Dodge Caliber SRT4 Photo Gallery
Chrysler Group’s Street and Racing Technology (SRT) group takes the SRT4 reputation to new heights with the introduction of the all-new, 300-horsepower 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT4.
The all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT4’s formula begins with the powertrain, essentially explained by four numbers: 85, 125, 300 and 260. The 85 is how much more horsepower is available compared with the original Dodge SRT4, which results in 125 horsepower per liter for a total of 300 horsepower. The final number is 260, as in 260 lb.-ft of tire-smoking, push-back-in-your-seat torque. Those numbers add up to a 0-60-mph time of under 6 seconds.

It's ugly, under-engineering and made of the same type of plastic they use on tic tac mints box.
This thing will torque steer like nothing else out there.

It's still a Neo... oh wait, Caliber.
I think Dodge believes the uglier it is the more embarassed you'll be when it blows by you, torque steer or not it's still going to fast, even out of corners.

That has much more to do with the driver not the car. How can you presume this car handles poorly when it hasn't even been released yet? You're purely talking out of your ass.

My Mazdaspeed3 still has more torque (280 to the Caliber's 260) And Mazda has magically managed the torque on the speed3, trust me, the torque steer is irrelevant.
Beside the fact that this ugly POS probably wont be faster than the speed3 (5.4 to 60)....its just really, really, ugly...wait...is that a Jeep Compass? We'll probably see a variant in the form of that as well.

You both are guessing as well. You're speculating that the Caliber SRT-4 will be slower then the MazdaSpeed 3, when in reality there has been absolutely no recorded performance (independent) data for the new Caliber SRT-4. Taking into consideration that the current MS3 is just as fast as the past Neon SRT-4, it would be a better guess that this current generation SRT-4 will be faster then it's earlier sibling. Take this for what it's worth, but I'm sure Dodge would not introduce a car that's slower then it's previous version.
