001, Thanks for all the great picture!! Moving forward, you asked about ideas for the new site; perhaps a small caption under the fotos of shows covered would be excellent!

How many pages do I need to go through to see another car that isn't a BMW? I am a 7-series owner and I think the X6 is cool and all but it already feels kind of played out and this takes it to another level. 16 pages of BMW pictures, which most of them are of the same cars of multiple angles shot again and again. There is too much excess.

Thank you for the comment but I think most readers would disagree with you.

EVERYONE wants to see these vehicles in detail.

Fair enough, but good photographs do not need to be accompanied with multiple shots that are essentially the same: three quarters view with doors open, three quarters view with doors closed with trunk open, a different three quarters view with doors open again, and again with the hood open but doors closed. Doors open with person standing next to door then same view with the same person sitting in. Feels redundant.

I know you and your colleagues want to continue to be the first to provide a comprehensive collection of photographs before just about everyone but I think instead of dumping photos, spending time choosing the best photograph that compliments the car would be a good direction to go.

There is an obvious bias. "We will shoot photographs of the BMW booth and then just browse through the other manufacturers' sections with a handful of photos here and there." If you want details, why so much emphasis on BMW but how about the other makes? Seriously, the X6 will be a production vehicle and will be in the US within every major city and town. How about providing details of the GT2 and 430 Scuderia? And then we get an Alpina overload, which is essentially BMW cars.

not most readers 001, more like most BMW enthusiasts. the X6 is getting so much hype for a very ugly vehicle. why so little specific details/pix of the XF? that is more intriguing to the crowd, IMO.

1200 shots of bmws, and 300 of other brands...hard to say EVERYONE wants to see the horrendous X6 in that much detail. not one angle of any of the shots has appealed to me, and i like BMW's

I would hoenstly rather see 1000 pics of the XF/Audi S5 and the new A4 before seeing 10 pics of the BMW X6.

the car is ugly...plain and simple! i dont need detailed pix to prove to me that it is, a few shots gives me that decision

Thanks 001 for the great pictures!

The X6 is the star of the show thats why you will find more pictures of it than any other car. You should wait and see it in person, but I really think it even looks beautiful from pictures.

001, I like where you are going with the pictures this year... getting the girls to kiss... what comes next. I know, I know that this is a family oriented web-site... just wondering. (Also kidding about the 'family oriented' part... I hope.)
