I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

2007 SEMA Show: Toyota Camry VIP - with sliding doors
This Toyota Camry VIP is the work of Eric Valdes, owner of Street Image Inc in Baldwin Park, California. Shown at the 2007 SEMA Show, the Toyota Camry VIP has no pillar to make room for opposing sliding doors that open to a luxurious interior.

The interior is finished with a two-tone black and beige suede and leather. Inside passengers can enjoy entertainment at its best with an Eclipse audio equipment, Apple iPod, integrated headrest monitors, and a Nintendo Wii.

Street Image Inc added exterior modifications that include a VIP Stylized body kit, Black Pearl Paint (shown in White Pearl at the SEMA Show), a new custom grille, no door handles and a stainless steel exhaust. The Toyota Camry VIP Edition rides on 20-inch chrome Maya DTM wheels.

i agree...a camry with 40K in mods is STILL A FRICKING CAMRY!

I have to say its pretty pointless, as interesting as it is

I have a '00 V6 5spd Manual Camry w/ leather. I'll tell u it's faster than what u got. And to end all arguments, I have an '06 530i SMG lease and a '07 Mazda CX-7 in the fam. Which one has fewest problems? U guessed it, the Camry. Which one takes 40 seconds to shift from 1st to 2nd? U guessed it, the 530i smg.

Camry's will always be the top selling cars because Camry's can be customized in soo many ways. The competition can't come close. U can get a manual trans. camry w/ leather & nav, or u can get a V6 auto Camry w/ cloth seats and hubcaps. Plus there's always sweet TRD equipment u can put on ur 5 spd manual model like short shifters, exhuast and intakes.

If u have a 3.0 X5, u can't win. Already tried, too many ppl i know have X5 If u have a 4.4 X5, which sounds nice and torquey, but really doesn't move to 60 below 7 sec, so yes my '00 V6 5spd Manual Camry w/ minor mods yes, is faster than those two X5's. Well, new Rav 4 V6 is faster than a new 4.8 X5.

Toyotas are a lot slower than the times they claim while the BMWs are faster. The Camry v6 can hardly get to 60 below 7.5 second and Toyota claims more than a second faster time. You keep believing that your slow ass Camry can beat ANY BMW.

Hey idiot, If u read, I have a lease on a 2006 530i SMG and we have a '07 CX-7. My '00 Camry V6 5spd Manual is Fast as my freakin 530i. All I had to do is have a cousin drive the 530i in auto, and stomp it, anyone can do that. It's a nice car, but no one can do anything about the fact that it takes the SMG like 30 sec to shift from 1st to 2nd, now i'm waiting for the Sprint Booster, look it up on the BMW forums. So many ppl i know have X5's, wtf, they all lost. New '08 Camry V6 Auto without VCS & Traction control option is sub 6 sec. to 60 mph, everyone knows that.

Toyota doesn't claim more than a second below 7.5, every automotive source does. Y don' u go test drive one, there should be a million of them around. Then drive a '08 BMW 528i. Tell us which is faster, the 528 or the Camry V6. O, my girl has a '08 528i.

I have an X5 4.8 and even if you beat me to 60 mph, I highly doubt you will stay ahead after that.
