It's one of the cars off the new Holden VE Commodore range. It's one of the short wheelbase ones, but I'm not sure which.

The red car you refer to is a Holden Torana concept, launched at the 2004 sydney motor show. This concept was a predecesssor to the VE commodore/pontiac g8 range.
