2008 Alfa Romeo Mini Sport Car
The new Junior is expected be built at Fiat’s Turinese plant in Mirafiori, Italy, alongside the Fiat Grande Punto, which shares the same platform as the baby Alfa. A base model will feature Fiat Group’s new 1.4L turbo engine developing around 150hp, while a high-performance model will adopt a 1.8L JTB direct injection turbo four-cylinder producing 220hp.

Nice looker, to bad Alfa can't make it work in the states, mini needs to be challenged somewhat.

These are the sport sedans of the future. Let's face it; oil prices are not going lower, they're going higher - a lot higher.
People complain in the U.S. about $3/gal gasoline. Just wait a few years folks...$5 and $6/gal is just around the corner.
Cars like the Mini, the Fiat 500, and the Alfa Jr. will be all the average guy/gal who likes to drive will be able to afford. Things could be worse though, these cars are a lot of fun to drive.
