2008 BMW 3-series details
BMW will be launching the updated 3-series range next month with the biggest change being the addition of more powerful engines and a reduction of fuel consumption across all models. Unfortunately, the car’s styling and equipment list remains much the same as the current version.

All models now come with direct injection technology providing most of the engines with minor power upgrades.

BMW doesn't change much because they think things out before they build the car.

Why doesn't the article mention the 328i and 328xi?

The only thing different is the color choices? It says petrol engines are unchanged. So basically nothing.

I just spoke to my BMW dealer in LA. The only changes he sees for the 2008 sedans are the new lemon interior. No engine changes planned for either 328i or 335i. I wish they would concentrate on the crappy cupholders instead of the engine though !!!

:-)))

I agree with enthusiastx11. The car is damn perfect, and the only thing I would like to see improved is maybe 10% better gas mileage all across the 3 series line. Maybe it will happpen in '09 MY.

Alex335- Lemon is not new it's been a priority 1 option since launch, unless they mean it a std. option now not a special order(priority 1).

the car was all-new in 06.
brand new engines in 07.
why would anything significant change 3 years in a row?
and why does it need to?

the car is damn near perfect (and most of the automotive worlds agrees with this).
