2008 Bmw 5-Series revealed
Building on last year’s updates, BMW’s 2008 5 Series Sedans and Sport Wagon receive another significant freshening and, in the case of 6-cylinder models, a major boost in power and efficiency. Complementing the power increase, a thoroughly revised interior, new technological features and a freshened look front and rear ensure this benchmark collection of rear and all-wheel-drive Sedans and Sports Wagon will maintain their place at the forefront of the mid-size luxury class. As is well known, I really don't care much for the styling of the 5-Series (way too Kabuki theater for my taste), but this new front end my actaully be too bland.

I think I'm in a time warp. The 2008 E60 was revealed months ago.

Really. These things are on the road. I'm not making this up lol.

I heard Anna Nicole Smith died.

I have seen this car on the road already also and it's very hard to notice any of the exterior upgrades other than the new front bumper, which I think is way too conservative. The 5 series is a nice car but definitely my least favorite bmw other than the x3.I look forward to the cars redesign in a few years. In addition.19'' rims are nice but not these ones.

I think the '08 5er looks very, very good... and this article is irrelevant. I test drove it a month ago.

This is like a 4 month old article, my family down in S'pore already bought one. They traded in their 320i for the 523i. Very beautiful car:)

I saw these at my dealer in May! Thanks for the breaking news! Stunning looking car BTW, I was never a huge fan but a black 2008 550 rocks.

Not a fan of the 5 series. I'm a fan of the A6 and the E-Class more than this. The only 5 that ever appealed to me is the 550i w/sport package and the M5.

E39 >>>>>> E60. (in styling)
Enough said.

I'm sorry, but the E60 makes the E39 look very old.

Let me put it this way: that's what I USED to think.

It's still ugly.

Bring back the E39 and run Bangle over with it...then back up and finish the job.

I will never forgive C. Bangle for giving the 5-series the "eyebrow" effect for the head and taillights. Overall the car is NOT appealing at all...the interior is okay, but the exterior is too busy. There is no BMW what comes close to the look of the new 3-series coupe though...now that is perfection.
