How can Jeep keep turning out these heaps?

What a woeful interior. Poor doesn't even cover it.

The Wrangler is the best Jeep, as its cheap interior and shoddy build-quality is somehow fitting on such a rugged vehicle.

To continue the theme to a more 'urban' vehicle DOES NOT WORK.

Wow, look at the inspiration there....all they did was copy the interior to the old Cherokee and make it all boxy and stale.

Another winner!!

I like the Mini-Commander styling. BUT... in classic Dodge-Chrysler form they cheaped out on the interior. sigh... Somebody needs to tell these guys that all of their cars shouldn't make people feel like they're sitting in a giant beverage cooler.

You know what is really funny?? All these cheap interiors are being approved by DaimlerChrysler, in which the Damiler half is in control....yet they wonder why Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep sales decline...WAKE UP MERCEDES!! If you made the C/D/J Group good from the starting gate, you may have not needed to look for a buyer.

Mercedes can only throw so much money away on Chrysler. They've been done for a while. I would never own a Chrysler product because their reliability and severe rate of depreciation. They're only bested by Mitsubishi I believe.

The current Liberty sell fairly well.

Now to offer a larger version with updated interior and exterior will be 'plus' for Jeep enthusiasts.

DCX seems to be putting the Liberty/Nitro up firmly against the new Escape/Mariner SUVs.

I find the current Liberty's interior nicer than this one.

210 hp from a 3.7L engine, and with that lousy fuel economy. Why do people keep buying these things? And it always seems to have had an identity crisis. Is it a mid-sized family vehicle (Highlander, Pilot, Edge) or a compact cute ute (Escape, RAV, CR-V)? Why is it that every Chrysler SUV (except the Grand Cherokee) seems to be just a little too big or a little too small?

Talk about a box on wheels. Never liked the Liberty, the Grand Cherokee was killed with the new one that came out a few years ago. Jeep has lost it's touch.

I understand there is some animosity between Daimler and Chrysler, but MB really has to step up and start sending some manpower to help out with Chryslers designs. Im not even saying mechanical at this point but more just along the lines of interior materials...

Well, considering Mercedes is selling Chrysler off... I would think that they could flush all of Jeep's sales down the toilet and not care- they're still getting $7 billion off of the Chrysler Group.

So disappointing... cheap interior, cheap engines, cheap designers...

And yet so expected.

Where is the anticipated diesel version? Why the obsolete 3.7 V6 while the uglier Nitro gets the improved 4-litre V6? Are there misfits in the organiztion who stay up all night trying to figure out ways to kill the Jeep brand or is someone just smoking the wrong stuff?
