Front bumper is very "Saturn" the overall front silhouette is very Lexus IS. Not as inspiring as the model it replaces.

Something more revolutionary than a car thats been out for 4 years. The current 6 had a much more progressive design than this.

Actually it the front seems a mixture of Lexus IS 350 and Mazda 3 with a little RX8 thrown in around the front fenders(although this could be camera angle). Not bad in my opinion.

I agree w/ you regarding the fenders. Looks good. I was wondering if they would keep the headlights with the 4-5 bulbs in them, looks like those are out. Cant wait to see interior pics/etc.

Screams Saturn Sky. Compare that pic to the one of the Saturn Sky here:

Headlights Looks like Lexus GS minus the smaller one.
Front Bumper looks like that of new Porsche Cayenne.

But as a whole looks very beautiful especially the flowing lines, the bonnet and the grille

Why does everything have to 'look like something'?

Lexus sure thinks so.

Before people even commented on this article I wonder if they read the entire thing?........far less study the design.

First of all let me say that in no way does this sexy car look anything remotely close to the rebadged Opel(Saturn Aura / Sky). A mildly educated design rookie can point that out. Why do our North American buddies love to compare cars to what drives on their roads?

Anyway, what we see here is not a concept Mazda 6.......it is the real McCoy. The gorgeous lines, 3D menacing hood, wide sharp grille, headlights born out of a marriage between an RX-8 and IS....all these descriptions speak volumes for this car. In short this new Mazda / Atenza will be simply the baddest muddar out for the midsize segment.

The new 2008 Accord aint gotta tang on this baby. Pics floating around the net do not point towards a design that can take this down. Lets not even start on the dumpy looking Camry. The competition is so intense damn! Guys we only stand to win.

The dash looks like a cross between an Acura TL and a Mazda3. Insiders also say that a 270hp 3.5 V6 is guarandamteed as well as DVD, start/stop, 9airbags, xenons, paddle shifted 6speed, hard drive, 18s and opt19s shoes.....A direct ignition 200hp 2.5L I-4 would be base as well as a regular one 170hp. The Mazdaspeed 6 will have a new turbocharged 2.5L producing at least 300hp.

Accord, Camry? Leave that for granny........

Poor Man's BMW? ........we'll take that as a compliment
