2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid Coverage -- Pictures and Videos

Mercury launched its updated 2008 Mariner SUV on October 2006 Miami Auto Show.



Asfuel prices have increased, American buyers have begun shifting their SUV purchasing habits to favor smaller, more car-like sport utilities over the larger options. Given this shift, Mercury brings its refreshed Mariner to market at just the right time.
Two other SUVs—the Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute—share a platform with the Mercury Mariner, but in what is perhaps an endorsement of the viability of the Mercury brand, the Mariner is the first of this trio to make its redesign debut.

It looks Japanese... a wait it's a Mazda Tribute.

What a shame. For a brand that has so many rich heritage it losts its soul and personality. (especially that last one)
