Subaru has revealed today the new Forester XTI Concept.
It will be featured at the 2008 Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Show, which runs at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 4 to 7 of this year. The Forester XTI Concept merges the adaptability of the all-new Forester 2.5XT with the maximum street performance of the rally-bred Impreza WRX STI.
All new for 2009, the Forester was named MOTOR TREND magazine’s SUV of the Year. The magazine highly praised the new Forester’s blend of performance, utility, comfort, safety technology and value in giving it the honor. “The Subaru Forester is the SUV for our times,” said MOTOR TREND editor Angus MacKenzie, referring to the judges’ unanimous decision. The new Forester XTI Concept has an acceleration rate of 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, exactly as the Spyker D12 Peking to Paris!
