This is a really old rumor. Toyota is very secretive and any info regarding the next Supra is pure speculation.

Will be nice if it happens. The last Supra was awesome in every way but the rear wing spoiler.

I credit that spoiler with birthing the crappy "fast and furious"/"ricer" era we see today.

I credit the Supra with the birthing of the ricer exhaust (the single tip muffler)

The front looks like a Peugeot, or it reminds me of one.

I'd buy a guards red Porsche Cayman before buying a Soyota Tupra.

I rather save a little more and get Silver 997 Carrera.

I bet Toyota will follow in the footsteps of Nissan with the GT-R...the next Supra will probably try to compete with the GT-R in the $70-80K range...and then I woul DEFINITELY rather have a Carrera than that thing.

Nice...I think it a very good looking car. But don't really know what it will really look like until it come out. It would be really nice if they pump the horse power from 450-500 hp for the coupe; show it can spanked the GTR.

Lexus

ps. nice concept

this is an old article from the April 2006 issue of Road and Track Magazine. The article was full of concepts and future cars from Japan. Toyota has been very secretive and anything on the Supra has been pure specualtion. Nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet.

Looks good except for the front grill. I don't agree that it looks like that Peugeot.

MDalle,
We actually agree on something. The front does look like some anime robot head.

I can tell you guys this now... it would be awesome if the Supra came out, but IT'S NOT COMING IN 2008. That would be so unexpected, so underdeveloped, so un-Toyota.

Then again, the Supra stands for exactly what Toyota doesn't. It's not a car for the everyday driver.
