Even Acura is jumping on the Lexus IS-F's stacked exhausts bandwagon. Read Article
who else is jumping on the bandwagon, if anything Lexus jacked the porsche turbo exhaust pipes from the 996 turbo.— MBKing (View Profile)

I dont see how the 996's exhuast look ANYTHING similar to the dual vertical stacked exhaust. Anyway I hope the NSX will look good as it sounds, with that v10 :D— Alec (View Profile)

Alec, they're basically one inside the other, and it's pretty similar. Use your imagination.— S4cabriofoxone (View Profile)

I doubt that those would make it to the production model. This car looks about three years off, judging by the mutant S2000 test mule.I'm very excited for Honda to produce it, though. Finally, an EXCITING Acura product! R8, LF-A, NSX, GT-R, 911, V8 Vantage... this is just calling out for a track day comparison test.— S4cabriofoxone (View Profile)

Like Porsche, maybe Honda/Acura could ditch their LMP2 car and use that same engine for a production supercar? Scratch that. I'm just being lame and the idea came to me after reading this and before that the, 'Production of Porsche Carrera GT officially stopped' entry. The car is a test-mule and bespoke prototype that we cannot get any firm idea on what the car will look or be like. The only people who know are the testing teams and creative minds behind the project. I doubt Honda will drop a turkey on this, the NSX wasn't a failure in terms of capability but was a failure with sales figures.— richardp996 (View Profile)

You're such a morron, how could you tell what the thing looks like? To me I think this is one of the best camo job ever done. I don't think it's the NSX nor will it have stupid stocked exhaust.Didn't Nissan show a picture of the next Z with those exhaust way before Lexus did?You Nissan had theirs like O ---------O O--------O — silverarrow2 (View Profile)

Sailor, you say you hate how the car looks, and proceed to comment on the S2000 body... that doesn't make sense... this isn't how it's going to look.— S4cabriofoxone (View Profile)

Japanese can't make cars look "exotic", they seem to lack that despite making good cars. — EliteRanger (View Profile)

It's a test mule and nothing more. Its focus is about experimenting and examing different facets of a proposed concept rather than look good. Does anyone recall how ugly the Gallardo test mule was? A lot of people freak out because it had all this cladding, which looked fragile but in the end the car is a very beautiful sight to see.— richardp996 (View Profile)

I don't know why Acura chose not to stay with the mid-engine setup. The current NSX handles brilliantly with the mid-engine setup. Seems like Acura is going backwards instead of improving on the existing platform and moving forward into the next generations. — investor27 (View Profile)

There is no "current" NSX, unfortunately. It was discontinued about two years ago.If it came back to life as a mid-engined sports car, it and the R8 would be in a class by themselves. One magazine even said that the R8's driving style reminds them of the NSX... it seems to be a modern reincarnation of it.— S4cabriofoxone (View Profile)
