2009 Audi S4 caught undisguised
With Audi’s new A4 range officialy released, attention now turns to the performance S range, which should be making its arrival by mid next year. These latest spy shots reveal a completely undisguised prototype of the new car, which can clearly be seen sporting a new set of bumpers and a small bootlid spoiler. The only other visual clue that this is in fact the new S4 is the quad exhaust tailpipes residing in the rear diffuser. Read Article

I don't think it's a photoshop at all. Too many angles and way to perfect on that street for a photoshop. But on the other side it is for sure a test car, so it can still have some fake stuff on it, just to defend the real S4. or maybe not. I still really like it.

the trunk reminds me of the BMW X3 with that cut-in design by the taillights. Doesn't look as aggresive as the prior, IMHO.

it is kind of bland. What is up with the curved led headlights that dont follow the actual headlight bracket? Actually, on my way to work this morning had a 2005 S4 next to me in silver. I think that is a much better looking car than this. Will Audi ever make a more attractive small sedan or are they just complacent not being able to compete with BMW?

That was my reaction when I saw it! But when I look at the A4 with the s-line kit in white it looks pretty good. So I'm wondering if the black takes away some that "pizzaz" factor!

The back looks like its sagging...don't know, but I liked the old one better.

That's because it's accelerating away from you in the photos!

I think these are bad shots. It looks less aggressive than the B7 here- but that wouldn't make sense, because the B8 A4 is far more aggressive and more attractive than the B7. It will look fantastic when it finally comes out, I'm sure.
