2009 BMW 7-Series Spy Photos...The Next-Generation Will Feature a More Muscular Look
The next generation 2009 BMW 7-series has been spotted undergoing testing in Germany. The new design will be more of an evolution of the current generation with more of a muscular theme throughout. The proportions of the side view look rather unappealing.
I know it's difficult to see beyond the camouflage but I think the designers could have done a better job.

Can't tell much from the photo, but the possible addition of a hybrid version and an 8-speed tranny will help it try and compete with the Lexus LS.

This is a VERY early prototype with complete camouflage on. Most of the body panels you see won't be on the real model. My guess is this is just a driving dynamics prototype to test at the ring.

Why is anyone here even attempting to make assumptions of what the final appearance will be from these pictures? That car is so camouflaged, a VW Beetle could end up being the car their testing. <--- Sarcasm] Wait until some actually revealing pictures are released before you start passing judgments.
