2009 Bmw X5 and X6 models recalled in the US due to rear brake discs problem

Are all the parts made by the same manufacturer? If so bmw needs to dump them asap.

This is what you get when you turn up cost cutting to the max and skip quality control all together.

and knowing BMW, the "replacement" part will be just as faulty as the original. Haha

Waiting for someone to post here about how some other company has had recall issues to deflect negative attention away from BMW. That seems to be a major policy of the fanboys.

A little worse than Honda's wrong phone number recall or Toyota's wrong label recall.

You get what you pay for though, child labour in China at German inflated prices. Like Toyota, if they don't punish the supplier, it'll happen again.
