Hah... I hear everybody going: pff, a chinese car which SUCCEEDS in the US and Europe, thats impossible... Well, what did we think about japanese carmakers about 35 years ago??? And now look which countries' carmakers is just about RULING the carmarket??

I expect BYD or another Chinese automaker to be serious concurrention for other carmakers by 2020.

Sailor you are not far from what might just happen, when this country wakes the hell up and realize we can go back to when we made our own electronics cars and household goods our economy will be stronger and there once again will be enough jobs for everybody once again.

You are correct Sailor. Cheap labor, hence cheap products from China will always be a part of the US economy (imports, that is). And, to be honest, China does make some things better than we do here in the US.
