The Geneva International Motor Show , which will run beginning March 5 thru March 15 2009, will introduce the iChange Concept from the Swiss designers of Rinspeed, a “1-2-3-seater” propelled by an electric motor of 130 kw.

The concept car’s stunning body architecture adjusts through “electronic trick-tail” to the number of passengers on board, even as the athletic and sleek teardrop shape accommodates only the driver, two extra passengers may join him once the rear end of the vehicle is inexplicably raised. In the twinkling of an eye the full-fledged sports vehicle transforms into a compact sports van. Frank M. Rinderknecht, the automotive jack-of-all-trades, and his associates, with the Rinspeed “iChange” target to offer stimulating inclinations for the car industry: “Thinking about variability and the constantly changing energy demand, we have created an extremely flexible vehicle.”
