For those who thought John Hennessey’s promised supercar would never happen, cool your pessimism: images have hit the Web illustrating the new American wonder.
The car will take on the “Venom GT” name, borrowing from Hennessey’s many Viper works. The GT is set for a Geneva debut, where it is being highly anticipated as the hottest independent American exotic since the Saleen S7. The Hennessey will utilize a lightweight body (2,400 lbs.), a high-output V-8, and unholy figures: 2.4 sec. 0-60 sprints, 270+ mph top speed, and as much as 1,200 hp.
