In South Korea, Kia recently debuted the 2010 Optima, a minimally facelifted model that comes with several minor improvements over the current model.

It can be recalled that one year ago, Kia rolled out the first facelift of the current generation Optima, also known as Lotze in the domestic market and Magentis in Europe.

These minor upgrades include a new mesh grille, new LED tailights, 17-inch alloy wheels and dark headlamps. The car also features new trim and color options. Engine choices have been unchanged, with the four-cylinder lineup comprising a 2.0-liter 163 hp, a 2.4-liter 179 hp and a 2.7-liter V6 unit. The 2010 Optima can now be ordered in South Korea but Kia has yet to mention if it will bring the mentioned modifications on the North American and European versions as well.
