The 2010 Nissan GT-R is set to lose its launch control feature as recently confirmed on the Edmunds Inside Line newsblog.
According to an executive at Nissan, the 2010 Nissan GT-R will no longer be offered with launch control because "Nissan just does not want to deal with warranty nightmare anymore." Some owners of the new GT-R had issues with their launch control module resulting in serious problems such as a broken transaxles, which is one hefty price to fix.
