2011 Nissan 370Z to get G37’s 330 horsepower engine
The 2009 Nissan 350Z was supposed to get a huge performance upgrade for the 2009 model year. But while the Japanese company is busy planning a hybrid lineup, small sports coupe andthe launch of the Nissan GT-R, Nissan has pushed back the next-generation Z.
However on the cards for the next-generation Z is a brand new facelift. But that’s not what we’re interested in. Performance will be upgraded by 30 horsepower as the Infiniti G37’s 3.7 liter V6, 330 horsepower engine will find its way under the hood of the next-generation...

Infiniti is cheap? You know most of the people in the world aren't even lucky enough to own a car let alone an Infiniti. Don't be ignorant and stuck up. Infiniti are respectable cars just like Acura(even with their boring designs).

Great car as long as it does not get the dreaded CVT that Nissan seems to be so fond of. This car should have sporty 5-spoke wheels instead of 6-spoke wheels that don't match the 5 wheel bolts. I don't know why so many rice burners have a weird number of spokes on their alloy wheels. To much sake at design school I guess.

A 335 can hardly beat a G37 the 350Z wil kill it and dont let me even start about the 370Z.

0.7 seconds 0-60 is not "hardly beating" a G37.

By 2010/2011, Nissan would probably have hit the 340hp mark, with small engineering upgrades and minor tweaks. From a naturally aspirated V6. And what does BMW hope to keep doing with its 3 series and twin turbo inline6? Enlarge the turbos to compete?

My oh my, what in the world will BMW do then? Probably just revise the stated figures, since it's really already making 330hp and 340lb-ft. And a simple ECU remap can push the engine to 400hp, just ask Vishnu. So there's plenty of room for BMW to stay competitive, I don't think they're too worried right now.

All Nissan has to do is put the GT-R engine into the Z and G, and both will rape the 335i. Simple as that.

O but what wil nissan do with the 370Z, maybe put the simpel 3.7 twin turbo from the GTR in it and the you wil have atleast 450BHP. Bye bye BMW.

yeah, that's likely. Because I'm sure lots of people will buy the expensive GT-R if Nissan puts the same engine in the $45k less expensive Z. Besides BMW has a TT V8 coming if they really need to step it up.

By the time Nissan actually gets around to updating the Z--2011 as they are now telling us--I am sure the next gen Bimmer will be out, or at least close. Too bad that Nissan adopted the "Ford model cycle" for the Z, its sure going to get long in the tooth!

And i don't a ECU remap is a good idea, the 335i has cooling problems with stock figures. With more power you woul probably blowup the engine.

yeah with a jeep Jeffrey! You needed a dif drop bro. I aint changing drivetrain angles and increasing axle loads and unsprung wieght, just air fuel maps and eliminating big brother from my exhaust (aka cats) which will increase reliability and me having to worry about my up cat from disintegrating and killing my little turbo. I guess the only reliability issues will be me toasting my stock clutch and possibly some intercooler pressure issues I plan on nixing any way

I'm looking into leasing the new 335i. Where can I get some information on what rates I should be looking for, competitively?

Are you serious? That is an excellent deal. I would love to get that deal. I'm in Central Florida. Are we talking about the 335i or the 328i? How many miles per year?
A separate question. What happen when if I get into an accident in a leased car? Do I have to fully pay for the car then?

I love the Corvette. That is an excellent buy as well. I have seen maybe 5-7 of them on the streets so far, and everyone of them in different colors. So I would say not too many here in central Florida. Exclusivity is great, isn't it?

I don't know how much the Vettes are leasing for here. But in Central Florida, there's not enough competitions here for good rates. You would have much better luck in New York/New Jersey.
