2012 BMW 3 Series Inspired From The CS Concept
BMW is taking a different styling direction on the 6th-gen 3 Series that’s expected to pop-up in the automotive scene in 2011-2012. As seen in the CGI, the future 3-Series draws its inspiration from the impressive CS Concept but thanks to its compact dimensions, it looks sportier and sexier than the 5.1-meter long concept. Maybe it’s a bit too early for any final conclusions concerning the design-road BMW's taking for the next 3-Series, but dreaming never hurt anybody Read Article

A bit too early is a drastic understatement.

wow that does look good :). Thats what I call thinking outside the box. But its to early to start thinking of the next generation when the current one is still new.

I need a new car in the spring of 2008 so this one is too late for me. In any event, i prefer the upcoming AUdi A5 coupe.

Too early? It's ONLY 4-5 years away!

No. Seven or six is the norm these days.

I like it. Front lights looks like MB C class but more slimmer. Sadly Japanese will see the design and will bring it with very small modifications before Germans can react. All beautiful British, American or German Show cars or studies, most of the time will come from Japan. I hate to say that but it is the true.

How about we see the next 7 and then five series before we begin speculating about the next gen 3-series? The car is still 5 years away... Which is Centuries in the automotive industry...

The rendering looks pretty good though... A bit over the top maybe, but good. BTW: Who said Audi?! How can anybody see any-DNA Audi in that front end?!

This looks awesome! The CS concept was a beauty, and it would just add to BMW's image if they modeled their bread-and-butter after it.

But we don't need a photoshop for a car that's at least four years off...

I find that insulting to Mitsubishi. The new Lancer looks much better than the new 3 and its clenched ass.

If Bangle is still around, I doubt the next 3 will look remotely as good as the picture above. Sort of reminds me of a Maserati.

Mitsubishi has moved on from copying BMW's grille, and is now copying Audi's single-frame. I like the new Lancer a lot, but that's just how it is.

Oh and, you're really a card. Instead of complimenting the photoshop directly, you say the production version won't look this good. LOL!

The 'kidney-bean' grilles have this awkward proportion about them, to me atleast. Probably lose some points for that comment.
