Hyundai has announced the price list for the 2013 Equus model in the United States of America, where the entry-level version has been priced at $60,150.



According to the South Korean based automaker, the2013Hyundai Equus just went over the 60,000 USD milestone with a price hike of $250, which made it cost $60,150 for the base entry-level version, shipping included. As you can see from the image posted above, the 2103 Hyundai Equus doesn’t have a lot of changes and it can be considered more like a refresh than a facelift, with its highlights including the new White Satin exterior paint, along with the Saddle interior color combination.

I'm sure the Equus is a nice car, but to consider the LS and 7 and S its "competition" is really stretching it.

Granted the economy isn't the greatest here but I have yet to see an Equus on the road, Genesis sedans are rare too.

See a good number of 5s and E-classes though.

The only ones who will be buying a $65,000 Hyundai are the Koreans living here in the US. They are very patriotic at all cost.

And where can I get a 2010/2011 BMW 7 series or MB S-550 for $65,000? I'll buy one today. TODAY!

They sold 3,200 of them last year and have almost sold that many this year. People used to say that Toyota would never be able to sell a luxury vehicle in the US, too. So, have your preference but don't be so ignorant that you can't see this train coming because wishing it away isn't going to work.

IMAO........ For that kind of money I would rather get a slightly use Lexus LS460, MB S-Class or a BMW 7-Series fully loaded as well and still has warranty.

Off course it's a nice car because it copy design cues from MB, BMW and Lexus mixed it up and paste it together. Until Hyundai create a Separate Luxury name for it own premium brand and create something unique that is their own and than I will respected.

They have improve a lot in the past 10 years but NO where near the level of Lexus, BMW, MB and Audi when it come to quality, finish and reliability. When you're comparing the recall number, compare it to the number being sold.

Why do some people forget things so easily!! Toyota also wants to play with is LS600h in the full-size luxury sedan class above $100,000, where V-12 powered .... with a fake Maybach imitation back seat LOL!! so why not EQUUS today??
